The RTP|ONE Enterprise Framework delivers modular, customizable Order processing functionality in an n-tier architecture built on Microsoft .NET technology.  Each set of logic and functionality is abstracted from the next, creating maximum flexibility, extensibility and scalability within the system.

Solutions can be developed and delivered by using all or part of the RTP|ONE product line.

Key components of an RTP|ONE solution:

  1. RTP|ONE Enterprise Framework
The RTP|ONE enterprise framework is a flexible order and transaction processor that passes information between different parts of the system.  Databases and extensible application components or web services are attached to the engine to store transaction data and provide functionality.

  2. Application Components or Web Services
Application components or web services are XML-based, network-capable units of software that work in conjunction with the RTP|ONE Enterprise Framework to provide specific functionality (such as product validation or point of sale).  The modular architecture of web services allows for individual application components to work alone as point solutions or to interact with a suite of web services as part of an enterprise-wide solution.  Web services may be custom developed by RTP, a third party, or your internal IT professionals.  RTP offers an extensive family of RTP|ONE Products to accommodate your most important point-of-sale and business management needs.

  3. User Clients
User Clients are front-end interfaces that deliver one or more web services to a user.  A User Client is customizable in content, appearance (making it possible to show only what is needed in a given application) and delivery mechanism (such as a Windows client or web browser).  With RTP|ONE it is possible to create multiple User Clients, each with a different visual brand and delivery mechanism for a single web service.  User Clients can be carried out through a wide variety of platforms, including Windows, web (JSP, ASP, Perl, etc.) and non-Microsoft platforms.

  4. External Networks
.NET enables your business to connect to other external networks such as media channels and outside software vendors through its XML web services.  Services and information can be exchanged in both directions through a .NET network, enabling you to deliver functionality from an external third party to your guests, or provide your own business services to other external partners or users.
