August 23, 2005 - Avon, Colo.  – RTP, a leading provider of integrated point-of-sale software and eCommerce solutions for the resort and attraction industries, announced today that Boyne USA Resorts has extended the RTP|ONE product to the company’s new indoor waterpark, Avalanche Bay, at Boyne Mountain in Michigan, and new customer rewards program, BoyneRewards.  The expansion of the RTP|ONE product suite will allow Boyne USA Resorts to manage its multiple resorts and locations, including six ski areas, nine golf courses, twenty-two retail stores, online sales and tee time reservations, and the new waterpark, with one system.

With over 88,000 square feet, Avalanche Bay is Michigan’s largest indoor waterpark, offering year-round fun for families and guests, featuring a variety of slides, rides, falls, pools and play areas.  Themed as a Swiss-Austrian village, guests can also enjoy toboggan and tube slides, Rip Zone surf simulator (the region’s first), climbing walls and towers, spacious locker and family changing areas and a mega-arcade with over 100 games.  Since its opening in May 2005, Avalanche Bay has hosted thousands of guests.

Boyne USA Resorts, a customer of RTP since 2003, migrated to RTP’s newest product, RTP|ONE, in the spring of 2004.  Based on Microsoft’s .NET technology, RTP|ONE provides Boyne with a centralized view of their operation, including sales data, customer data, and transaction data.  While many resorts use multiple, disparate systems to manage their operations, at higher operating costs and lower productivity, Boyne benefits from having one system to manage and maintain.
