Michael McDermott, Executive Vice President, is responsible for leading RTP’s strategy and global field operations.

A member of RTP’s executive committee, Michael is responsible for global sales, marketing, product management and professional services. Additionally, Michael leads RTP’s strategic planning and organizational alignment efforts to meet immediate corporate goals while developing people, products and systems for long-term sustainability.

He champions ways RTP can continually create value through the strategic integration of new products, ground-breaking mobile apps, on-demand POS and RFID ticketing and access control.

Prior to RTP, Michael held management positions that drove the transformation of small and mid-sized software organizations into high-performing and high growth companies. He’s held key sales marketing positions in prestigious global companies such as J.D. Edwards and PeopleSoft.

McDermott is a graduate of Colorado State University and resides in Denver with his wife and daughter.
